I love the music of my Baby Boomer Generation…people who had a lot to say and motivated people into action: Dylan, Ochs, Dave Van Ronk, Jackson Browne, Joan Baez, Judy Collins, and the fathers of them all, Pete Seeger and Woody Guthrie.
I can not agree with you more. I think the big difference was back then musicians were valued not only for their musical abilities (which were great) but for what they had to say – Pete Seeger being a great example of this.
