The rain stays

After the falling drops

Bring about the memories

Of my beloved pops

Those who go before

Can see from the sky above

As the rain falls down on the ones

They love

These days bring out the rain

Tears and strain

Of loss and growth

That has to overcome the mourning

To take boldly a new morning

I love the days when the rain falls

I feel the water pulls me closer

To the ones who are gone

Who lay in the ground

And wait for the rain sound
