Baffled and Gone
It was quick
And painless
For a moment in time
Was gone
In the wind of
My mind
Slowly
The baffled look of confusion
I could not withhold
Told the story
Of what I had
Been through
Amalgamation
Over time
The borders fall
And the words
Become one
So the amalgamation
Can be done
With one stroke of the pen
Or keyboard
It is the amalgamation
Of a far off sensation
Headed Back
It was a time
In my life
When I was uncertain
Of the purpose of the years
The days
And the weeks
So I began the journey
Back to seek
The meaning that comes
With change
And growth
It was a time
To go back
To what I know
I’d Rather
I’d rather be
Resting
Sleeping
Or relaxing
But in no moment
Is that this moment
So I instead
Embrace
The pace
Of what is
Blather
Is that what it all is
When the words come
Long and strained
All over my brain
I am drained
Yet I find a hope
In words
That can only be thus
From a poem or a word
Said
So I would rather
Blather
Than
Not
