I Want I Want

I want

I want

I must have

I must have

Everthing

On my list in life

I will pay the highest prices

Even though I shouldn’t

I want it all

The echoes that ring

Inside the heads

Of each of us

Is a questionable desire

That we should reconsider

Clashing

Clashing with my own two hands

Making for a unusual day

Of insignificant

Progress and setback

With the sun over the Camelback Mountains

I wonder if I will progress

Or recess

In the days ahead

So these words

Today

Save me

From my own

Monotony
