If Only

If only I knew

What I can’t know

Before the world goes

Where it does

If I only could

Say the thing

That would make her

Come back

To me

If only I had the time

To plan out the future

For my own safety

If only I could have heart

When all else fails

To hold me up

If only I could write the

Right words

On the page

So that I could say

I love you

The Ladybug Effect

It was a fast

Setting

Into what I now know

As the ladybug effect

The small spotted

Being landing on my hand

I admired the simple beauty

That I can’t quite understand

So I wrapped my mind

Around the moment at hand

And began to wonder

Of a much more wonderful world

Than the one where I

Currently stand

My Own Eyes

My own eyes

Have no where to go

Worthless technologies

Infecting the sockets

They infest

So where do I roam

As the mind wanders

Alone

In a cafe

On Broadway

With no music

To attach to

The blatant days

Of adhering

To the fads

Of the moment

In the cafe

I sit

Alone
