The world holds

Of hopes

Today

That the world

To make of the whole

Hope

The time we had

We made the most

The world we saw

We said a toast

To the hope of

World

In today

In the moments

We live

For now

And forever

It only takes a moment

Of notice

To make the move of lifetime

So take it the way you can

And get what you should

In a time

That is running out

For all of us on a finite journey

I learn the language of hope

So I can say

Take the moment we have

And make it yours

It was a gripping

Idea

With no course of completion

But it moved my heart to sing

In a moment of despair

So I hold that hope

Like a dove

In my hands

Tried and true

Tender is the time

That I begin

Again

In the start of any

Journey

Is life

The doubts

The trials

The crying

And the fears

Amidst all of this

It’s not enough

To stop

Trying

It’s a blink

Or a heartbeat

A moment

A second in time

Frozen

In history

As it happens

Over and over
