Goodness

What goodness can

Be brought

From light to light

So I hope to bring

What I can

In a world that is

Wrought

With darkness

Within and without

For all is good

When the good is done

One act at a time

Ladybug Season

Not to late in the summer

Or in the early fall

The ladybugs come out

To be seen by all

Some polka dotted

Others red and yellow

The Ladybug Season

Is where the

Times change from

Summer solstice to winter

Nights

Ahead

Of what season is coming

Back Against the Time

Back against

The world

Is a telling story

Of what can be said

And what has to be withheld

So the moments

Of pressure

Must be spent

In focus on the goal

Not the swaying of

The masses

To and endless game

Of chance

The Memories Were Never Mine

It was all a part

Of a play

The moments passed

As the wind blew

Through the day

The memories we make

Are not to keep

But rather to hold

Close to our hearts

Throughout this crazy

Life

That we live
