Massive Wonderland

Out of the fiction books

Comes the hopes of

Some humanity

In a difficult landscape

But can we do enough

In one life

In short time

Can we have a hope

Or is it overshooting

The goal

Of making life

Better

One word

At a

Time

Majestic Fog

Have I seen such a thing?

Of dense water

Bright

In the afternoon

With a grey overcoat

Walking slow

From shop to shop

On the streets of a grim

Chicago

That is an evenings stop

Those are the days

Of light airy feelings

With a dark

Twist of

Thoughts

Under Over

I was under my expectations

But overdue

For an adjustment

Of my strained

Blurry vision

From the circular world

That spins

So quietly

Around us

I had hopes to rise

Above the acidic

Rain

But for now I see what

Where I am at

And can’t

Complain
