For the Sake of Harmony

For the sake of harmony

What is at stake

To be given freely

For the greatest

Take

Of happiness

For the collective

I would forsake

Opinions

Fake and foiled

To listen instead

To be patient

Rather than turning red

In the face

So for the sake of harmony

What will give

And what can we take

Who is to Blame

Who is to blame

A shame

Of a time

Had

When all that is wrong

Is now right

All good is bad

Everything is backwards

And that’s that way we are had

So who takes the fall

From the media

To politicians

Who live in desperation

Of oxygen

Based on fear and lies

Who is to blame

For these hard times?

A Drunk Existence

Is there a higher calling

Than always falling

To the bottle

That binds

Us closer to our grave

In moments of weakness

I hope

And send hope

To others

Who turn to this everyday

So the drunk existence goes

As we all know

Quietly

Away
