How Fast it Goes

When will I be here again

In the same place

With a familiar thought

Or feeling

The work that has to be

Done

To get the same

Repeating

So instead

I take the breathe

Of the day

And breathe in

The whole feeling

Of living in this moment

Who is to Blame

Who is to blame

A shame

Of a time

Had

When all that is wrong

Is now right

All good is bad

Everything is backwards

And that’s that way we are had

So who takes the fall

From the media

To politicians

Who live in desperation

Of oxygen

Based on fear and lies

Who is to blame

For these hard times?

A Single Digit Day

A single digit day in store

The ice clad water

Laps against the shore

Of Lake Michigan

On the southern front

Where industry meets

Earth

The cold blows over my skin

Again

And reminds me of my youth

When it wasn’t to hard

To live through the bitter

Cold
