From the falling of rain
There is a memory
Of life that has been given
From the life
That is beneath what the eye
Can see
The roots remember the rain
And all that came
To sustain the life
That has all of memories
Alive
From the falling of rain
There is a memory
Of life that has been given
From the life
That is beneath what the eye
Can see
The roots remember the rain
And all that came
To sustain the life
That has all of memories
Alive
Hold the light
Where the lost
Can see it’s dim veiled
Hopes
Of destiny
To see what path lie ahead
May make life palatable instead
Of dreading the worst
So the lantern for the lost
Beams in a darkening space
In a world that has fallen
Out of grace
Between the heart and soul
Bones and skin
The is a resonance
That rings
In
the depth of night
And in to grasp of morning light
Echoes beneath the skin
The memories of past loves
Trials and tribulations
From the formation of our beings
There is an echo that rings
The rain falls on the fields
Over the time
And back to the river
Runs the waters
Through the life
Stages
So the burden of the unknown rain
That falls
Deep in the forest
In the middle of the night
Is the rain that heals
The land
Deep in it’s divided light
Between a length of darkness
There is a star
Brought into life
From the depth of silence
And heart
To light the night
In a start
It is the silence between stars
That is measured in light
That tells us what is wrong
And what is right
So comes the fall
Brining in the final act
Of the summers discourse
Holding up it’s course
To take away
The petals that fall in a nowhere town
And on the grass
They lay
Focused on the big things in life
Makes us susceptible to the
Small
Things
That can add to the uneasy
Word
So undue stress
Can come from the smallest of moments
To the tender of life
Under the arms of the world
The weight of the small things
Bears down
Upon the evening hour
There is a certain darkness
That sheds over the ripe orchard life
In the darkness the new
Ones
Move in
To take over the evening rush
An orchard in the dark
Is more to the moon than
The sun
The full moonlight
Upon the hours that make the
Evening new
When the clouds rolled in
And the fog laid claim to the day
The letters that the rain forget to send
And forgot to say
That there is a hope
Only distant as the sun in the rain
That we can change a life
Make a better choice
And be the change we
Wish to see
Underneath the skin
And the blood
There is an echo in my bones
Of memories
And letting go
To the distant hopes
Of what could have been
And what was
Reality
So I take this echo
To hear from time to time
Who I am
And where I came from
